Vintage WW2 Japanese YEW Yokogawa Denki Seisakusho Ltd, Portable DC Voltammeter. 731425 complete with accessories and original box/case.

Believed manufactured in early 1940's dated using the internet and markings to get dates. This is the nearest I have been able to come. Having seen another with similar markings, they stated 1943, so can't be too far off the mark. Included is a resistor/voltage drop bank constructed of Bakelite and wood. Serial number 731425 MPs and Japanese markings. Additionally there is a 2 wire link bar YEW No. In good condition and 3 x Link bars of Bakelite construction 45MV0.15A No K10708 N121, 45MV 15A No K18925 N121 and 45MV No K18925 N1211.5A. The links are secured in the case/box with a Bakelite flap and lock.

One hinge is corroded and not too good. The case/box shows signs of wear and is screwed together well with good solid dovetail joints.

The interior lining is grubby with signs of corrosion to hinges but all in tact. The leather handle is missing. The lock has no key. The case/box does not lock and is missing a leather handle. I do not know any of the history or when last in use.
