Vintage Stanley London pocket sextant in leather case. A lovely piece of turn of the century engineering. Uncertain as to aging this as i cant find another model, but as William Ford Stanley started production in the 1850s, and other similar ones and they're cases date from pre WW1 - i would say from Pre WW1 - end of WW2. It has the military arrow mark. Great condition for age - no scratches dents to the outer metal casing, a couple of very faint slight marks on the face, some slight rubbing off of the black on the case circular rims, some better pictures to follow-, and the case is in great working condition, a tiny spot of Verdigris on the brass belt pin.
