Vintage Large Kipps Apparatus Glass Gas Generator. Kipp's apparatus, also called Kipp generator, is an apparatus designed for preparation of small volumes of gases. It was invented around 1844 by the Dutch pharmacist Petrus Jacobus Kipp and widely used in chemical laboratories and for demonstrations in schools into the second half of the 20th century. This large vintage Kipp apparatus would look amazing wherever you choose to display it. Item is approx 62cm [H] x 17cm [W] x 16cm [D] Item is in vintage used condition with obvious signs of age, use, marks, chips and wear.

Some of the glass is discoloured through use. [Can is for scale and not included]. Cash on collection preferred if at all possible?
