VICTORIAN DC VOLTMETER, 0-150V {PHYSICS} MODEL 1 No. 28866 BY WESTON ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT CO. This wonderful instrument is one of the finest examples around. The scale and mechanism are housed in the wedge shaped Bakelite enclosure finished in black speckled maroon lacquer mounted on a felt pad of the same colour, on a mahogany base. The window over the pivot point is actually domed as well as bevelled. The maker's insignia is of embossed copper and the terminal screws are of brown Bakelite or Ebonite. The button above the +ve terminal is a push button. This voltmeter must have found it's way to a French speaking country at some point as there is an "Ivorine" label with "Nord" on it?
