The pillar of the microscope screws into a post on the top of the lid. The case measures 6 ½ x 4 ¼ x 1 ½ inches approx.
The lid of the case is lined with blue velvet. Eyepiece, 3 objective lenses, stage forceps, black/white bone disc, black disc with pin-hole, glass concave specimen-holder, brass tweezers, 2 bone-handled instruments and a livebox. Brass pillar-mounted mirror 3 ½ cm in diameter.
