Troughton & Simms Double Brass Sextant. Double Brass Sextant by Troughton and Simms. In beautiful fan shaped wooden box. Item was gifted in 1873 by Gustaf L. Oberg to his nephew Torkel Lundholm. Plaque on box lid reads: G L Oberg, Premium of Stockholms Navigation Skola, 1873. Presented to Torkel Lundholm from his affectionate uncle Gustaf L.

Two plaques also on actual sextant in sterling silver (see pictures). In original condition with certificate of examination dated 1912 on inner top lid. It has a serial number 3063 on centre limb.
