Stanton Model Ad4 Short Beam Analytical Balance C 1950

A very nice Stanton short beam analytical balance (sometimes called an apothecary balance or scales). Comes with a very nice Griffin & Tatlock set of weights (all of the main weights are present) along with 4 sheet metal weights and original tweezers. I have three balances but due to very limited space I can only keep one. I also have a lovely Paul Bunge early balance for sale in a separate listing. Approx size :- height 46cm, width 46cm and depth 38cm including bulb box at rear.

Has a transformer in custom made wooden housing. Excellent condition with all the wire ring weights present on the single decade loading arm. Viewing scale galss (illuminated) kas a small crack (see picture). Collection only from High Barnet (3mins from tube station).
