Sphygmograph Pulse Recorder Krohne & Sesemann C1880 Working Cased
A Rare tested and Working, Robert Ellis Dudgeon Type SPHYGMOGRAPH. This early and highly portable Pulse Recorder is in its original Black Morocco leather covered wooden case with Plush Line and Satin embossed inner lid with Krohne & Sesemann Logo. Krohne & Sesemann were based in 8 Duke Street London. The Instrument is German Silvered Brass with original Black Canvas wrist Strap and silvered Brass adjuster. There is a Troy 0z pressure wheel and clock work winder to the front with Start Stop Lever to the top. The balanced marker moves across and leaves its trace on smoked paper strips to give the the Pulse sign wave. A Blued steel roller with Fine toothed wheels to top and bottom carry the paper strip through the scooped cradle.
