Spectacles Trial Spectacles C1850 Set of 12 Rare Optician Trial lens

A rare and highly collectable folding Set of 12 Opticians Trial Spectacles. The Spectacles are numbered 1-12 and fold into their Compartments. Each compartment divided by a thin tin plate. The Set is comprised of horn and glass and dates from around 1850.

I have not cleaned any of the Instrument. These type of full folding Opticians Spectacles of this quantity are very difficult to find. There is some decay to the fine pin rods as would be expected.

However, all the spectacles fold in and out of their compartments as they should.
