Re-listed due to another time waster. Very nice lacquered brass sextant by Troughton & Simms, London. It measures just 13 cms down the arm to the outer edge of the arc. The scale reads from - 5 to 165. The mirrors and shades are very nice, everything in fine working condition.
The small shaped mahogany case is free of cracks but does have a small, old repair to one corner. It has the original lock & key and contains a small ebony handle, a long telescope which gives an inverted image, a sighting tube, two sun shade end caps for the telescopes and a mirror adjusting key.
