Sindall's Universal Paper Scale Victorian British Made

SINDALL'S UNIVERSAL PAPER SCALE {VICTORIAN} BRITISH MADE. This fine example is made from cast iron, steel and polished lacquered brass. The iron and steel parts are finished in black with gold highlights. The three scales are calibrated 0-516 a. The scale is extremely sensitive as one A4 sheet of paper makes a difference of approx 10 divisions which implies that it would measure the weight of a tenth of a sheet of A4.

One of the tripod feet is fitted with a levelling screw, the other two are drilled to anchor the instrument. Please take a look at my other items.
