SET OF 7 ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1950s ATOMIC CRYSTAL MOLECULE MODELS

For sale here is this fantastic set of 7 vintage school teaching models of the Seven different types of crystal morphology, consisting of seven molecular ball and rod models. They are cubic, Hexagonal, tetragonal, trigonal, orthorhombic, monoclinic and triclinic. Seven different models illustrate how to identify The seven Different atomic structures of crystals, all of the models have metal labels on to identify them. Made in the Czech Republic in the 1950's/ 1960's. We bought this one from a dealer in Prague.

These fantastic molecular models are original 1950s teaching aids But have now become very fashionable in the interiors and decorators business as they make for a very interesting shelf fillers. These models were used in schools to help chemistry students visualise chemical crystal structure where they would have been passed around the class so there are some small signs of wear I have tried to photograph this were possible but overall they really are in very good condition. CONDITION it is in very good condition. The Round molecules are made from plastic it is them powder coated in silver and the bonds are metal rods.

Obviously this item is not new so there is will be some light cosmetic wear, some chipped paint and light oxidation of the metal, I have tried to photograph examples of any obvious wear so please do check all photos carefully. These models are fixed and do not come apart.
