Reduced Large Baird & Tatlock Cased Scientific Scales Balance Beam Shop With Key

Fabulous Baird & Tatlock of 14-17 Saint Cross St, Hatton Garden London, Brass Balance Scientific Beam Scales. I believe these to have been made in the first half of the last century. The makers plaque is shown in one of the pictures. In lovely vintage condition mounted in it's original mahogany case which is complete with it's original key which locks the front sliding panel. The scales are complete with 4 brass weights.

The scales appear to be in good working order. The approx dimensions of the case are. Depth: 16.5 inches (42cm).

These are a nice good sized set of scales now cleaned, polished and ready for years of further use whilst it increases in value as you enjoy it! This will be for collection, although you are welcome to arrange your own courier and I will be happy to assist at my end. I can recommend a courier'Phil the transporter' for nationwide coverage at a sensible cost, his details as well as mine are shown in the last photo. Priced very fairly for what it is and the condition it is in.
