This seems to be a RARE dual purpose , leather encased brass spotting Telescope which can be used as a functional Microscope too (by detaching the larger end - as 6th photo)... This Davon instrument was made by F. Sun/protective visor covers the far end. Comes with a wooden box lined with green velvet. Of image obtained by rotating the round transverse rack/pinion wheel.

Fine focus by manually moving the eyepiece lens. The eyepiece/objective for the eye end has another alternative (see 1st, 4th, 5th photos). The middle lens for Microscope can be replaced by 3 other different interchangeable/ alternative Microscope objective lenses (each in own brass container - see 4th & 5th photos)...... Located at the bottom of the Microscope section.
