RARE c1900-1910 PATTERSON XRAY SCREEN X-Ray Radiation HEAD MOUNT VIEWING HOOD

A very rare and elaborate PATTERSON X-RAY SCREEN radiation viewing shroud. For head mounting and viewing by eye. Measures 12 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 9 1/2 in closed position. Plush furry black cloth viewing eye shroud in great shape with no rot or. Made with a wood underbody with grained cloth overlay and metal (aluminum) trim.

Front section is hinged to reveal the RED THICK GLASS FILTER SCREEN for cleaning and/ or replacement. Wear and scratches is consistent with age and use. One head strap is torn away at mount area because the cloth strap is thin and dry - but can be doubled. Up and sewed back for display.
