This very superior and complete set of Drawing Instruments comes in a brass-inlaid Rosewood case measuring 9 x 5 x 2 inches. Good hinges and lock, but no key. The main tray of brass and steel instruments is complete - compass-joint key, bone-handled mapping pen and springbow compass, and proportional dividers. Behind the silk lid are 2 wooden set squares and a wood rule, and in the base of the box are.

Ebony and brass parallel rule. Wooden tube for spare leads. All instruments are complete with tightening screws, and this is a very fine late 19thC set in good condition. The unpacked weight is almost 1 Kg.
