Large French theodolite Richer & Cie, Paris

A large brass double telescope french theodolite, signed on the 6.5? Horizontal plate,'Richer & Cie, Rue de la Cerisaie, 15, Paris', standing 11.5? The larger vertical silver scale is engraved from 50 - 0 - 50 and the smaller vertical scale 20 - 0 - 20, the horizontal silver scale is divided from 0 - 360 and sub divided to one degree, each degree with incremments of 6, the verniers reading to 10 arc seconds.

Very nice though the fine adjustment to the lower telescope is missing.
