It has a fine architectural oak case with well carved detail and no damage or missing pieces. Overall height is a substantial 101cm (just under 40 inches). There is no maker's name and the weight unpacked is approximately 6.4 kilos.
The working barometer has an 8 inch (20cm) diameter white china dial with a visible aneroid movement and thick bevelled glass. The tall mercury thermometer has a china register plate with some minor age cracking/crazing, but not, I believe, sufficient to detract from it's appearance (please see photos). Please study the photos form as they form part of the description. Any questions please ask and thank you for looking.
