Fleaglass, Naturalists Botanical Specimen Magnifier, Late 18th Century onwards and still solid leatherette Case with fully functioning brass clasps. In good condition in my opinion commensurate with age. The only fault I have with it is perhaps a possible missing lense although the research I have done suggests the threaded barrel had a blank (you couldnt see through it), it still works well enough to see a flea well and magnified.

Unsigned but attributed to Makers W+S Jones, announced in 1798 and popular for 100 years or so.
