Engineer Made An interesting and intriguing sectioned side valve 4 Stroke engine that will attract both the engine enthusiast and Educational fraternity. I completely stripped the engine sectioned it, acid cleaned all the parts.
Painted the internals and casings. I then reassembled it in such a way that it can be revolved by the handle all the internals can then be seen working , the cranking handle is removable on this one.
As the crankshaft is rotated it drives the con rod and piston up and down the cylinder while also rotating the cam shaft via the now fully exposed gearing which then operates the valve train that is fully operational and operates as it would in a fully functional engine (its even timed correctly) The piston has been carefully and fully cleaned to "as new" condition. It makes a fascinating and very different instructional / educational / unusual desk toy / teaching aid or counter display for related trades that catches people's eye. Approximate dimensions are as follow Width 18 cm Depth 29 cm (including removable cranking handle) 21 cm handle removed.
Height 31 cm (including spark plug) Please feel free to ask any Questions.
