DEFLECTION MAGNETOMETER, VINTAGE {PHYSICS} UNSIGNED, BUT CLEARLY BY GRIFFIN & GEORGE. Comprising square Bakelite compass box calibrated 0-90 degrees, four times, mirrored to help prevent parallax when taking readings. Steel pivoted pointer with low friction agate bearing, (see last pic). The pointer is of lightweight aluminium with a heavy cobalt-steel counterbalance.

A 1 meter rule is mounted on the 0-0 axis strengthened by a robust metal track. Two original BAR MAGNETS are supplied with this instrument at no extra cost.
