An interesting and intriguing sectioned Over head valve pushrod operated 4 Stroke engine that will attract both the engine enthusiast and Educational fraternity. This one makes quite a statement with its sloping cylinder and fully exposed overhead valves.

This one was a generator engine so has a cast iron cylinder liner and ball bearing main at the rear for extended running times. I completely stripped the engine Pressure washed, sectioned then bead blasted then primed and painted the casting etc. It was reassembled it in such a way that it can be revolved via the removable cranking handle all the internals can then be seen working, As the crankshaft is rotated via the removable cranking handle it drives the con rod and piston up and down the cylinder while also rotating the cam shaft via the now fully exposed gearing which then operates the pushrods and rocker arms, the valve train that is fully operational and operates as it would in a fully functional engine (its even timed correctly). The piston has been thoroughly cleaned to remove the carbon. This one is mounted on a black wooden base which makes the engine stand out nicely while helping protect any surface it stands on.

It makes a fascinating and very different instructional / educational / unusual desk toy / teaching aid or counter display for related trades that catches people's eye. (everyone who sees it cant resist turning the handle). It will be dispatched via a fully insured and tracked courier. Width 22 cm Depth 28 cm (including removable cranking handle) 21.5 cm handle removed. Weight 5.04 kg (un- packaged).
