Cutaway Engine, Sectioned Engine O, H, V, Stationary Engine, Display / Teaching

This one makes quite a statement with its sloping cylinder and fully exposed push rod operated O, H, V gear that will attract both the engine enthusiast and Educational fraternity. Another notable feature this one is reverse rotation (it ran backwards). This one is rather heavier than the majority I produce (sorry USA customers) as it has a cast iron cylinder liner and a bigger than normal crank shaft it was designed for heavy duty use over long periods of time. I completely stripped the engine Pressure washed, sectioned then bead blasted, primed and painted the casting etc.

It was reassembled it in such a way that it can be revolved via the removable cranking handle all the internals can then be seen working, As the crankshaft is rotated it drives the con rod and piston up and down the cylinder while also rotating the cam shaft via the now fully exposed gearing which then operates the push rods and rocker arms, the valve train that is fully operational and operates as it would in a fully functional engine (its even timed correctly). The piston has been thoroughly cleaned to remove the carbon. It makes a fascinating and very different instructional / educational / unusual desk toy / teaching aid or counter display for related trades that catches people's eye. (everyone who sees it cant resist turning the handle). It will be dispatched via a fully insured and tracked courier.

Width 24 cm Depth 28.5 cm (including removable cranking handle) 24 cm handle removed. Height 26.5 cm (including spark plug). Piston 68 mm (200 cc). Weight 6.7 kg (un- packaged).
