C, sectioned 4 stroke engine. A very eye catching style of cutaway engine engine with its now fully exposed cam belt its the nearest thing you can get to a modern car engine in an easily transportable single cylinder format which makes it ideal for teaching.

It will provide interest and intrigue for both the engine enthusiast and Educational fraternity. I completely stripped the engine, Sectioned it then de-greased all the parts and bead blasted the castings to provide a key for the paint. Primed painted and lacquered the castings and crank shaft. I then reassembled it in such a way that it can be revolved by the removable cranking handle all the internals can then be seen working.

Being a OHC it has a toothed drive belt running up from the crankshaft up to the now prominent valve gear / rocker arms, The crankshaft is driven by the removable cranking handle which then drives the con rod and piston up and down the cylinder while also rotating the cam shaft via the timing belt, this then operates the valve train which is fully operational and operates as it would in a fully functional engine (its even timed correctly). The piston has been thoroughly cleaned of carbon. It makes a fascinating and very different instructional, educational, unusual desk toy / teaching aid or counter display for related trades that catches peoples eye. (everyone who sees it cant resist turning the handle).

This one is mounted on a Matt black wooden base which helps protect any surface it stands on. I do try and keep a few sectioned engines listed however each one is different and my stock is constantly changing.

So if you see an engine you particularly like then grab it as each one is pretty much unique so when its gone its gone. Via a fully tracked and insured courier. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Weight, 5.4 kg (unpackaged).
