Large Glass Condensing Tube Scientific. This is a special vintage massive glass tube, with a spiral glass tube inside.

Made by quick fit and described as visible flow. The glass is 14 mm thick and 850 mm high.

Made in the 1950s this vintage glass condenser is undamaged with no chips or cracks. From the De Dietrich 1997 QVF catalogue online.

The figures suggest you could produce about 100 litres per hour of vodka strength spirit!! It probably has a scientific name and needs a good soak to rinse out some dirt. Can be made into a unique steampunk light or just a display piece although can still be used as a condenser if you know how to set it up. It is a real collector's item and would cost a fortune if you ordered a new one.
