Bellingham & Stanley Ltd London. 12" inches tall X 6" wide approximately. Reractometer made by Bellingham & Stanley, London. Metal cylinder case with knurled securing bolt to the top that locates in the top of the device to form a protective carrying case. Thermometer holder housing is present but no thermometer. A fresh one is designed to be slid in by undoing the chrome stopper to the top. The glass looks to be all present as does the polished swivel mirror. I know little about this instrument or its original intended purpose.

Used as a display item by myself for some years. Please study the images for condition and do ask questions. I will try my best to help with any specifics or more images. There is no corrosion and the dials and fittings all move freely. Looks to be built around a heavy cast brass base structure.

Great to have its metal case. Due to lack of knowledge. Heavy item at nearly 4 k g.
