Believed to be an early twentieth century period item. More information about the company can be found on the Internet. See photos with the text on the face, with a blue and gold coloured arrows. Set in brass and what I believe is mahogany wood (this is a guess), with a bevelled glass face. The face is white with black lettering and figures.
Please ignore a few cast shadows from the photography. Wall mounted with an indented hook on the back (see photo). Was carefully looked after before that. A high quality barometer, stylish and distinctive. Structural condition is excellent, with a few miniscule dots on the white face. There are a few scattered marks on the brass surround, which is somewhat dark: it may be tarnish or not.
