ANTIQUE YARN TESTER BY JAMES H HEAL, HALIFAX - SUPERB CONDITION - WORKING S. This superb device comprises a polished mahogany base surmounted by brass and aluminium fittings. All moving parts do so freely and the winding mechanism performs as it was designed to.

The worm drive can be disengaged for zeroing by depressing the spring-loaded plunger at the rear. The curved brass scale is calibrated in 1/10ths of an inch.
