This antique carved Victorian oak aneroid banjo barometer, clock and thermometer is a wonderful piece for collectors of scientific instruments. The banjo barometer and thermometer is crafted with exceptional attention to detail and is covered with bevelled glass, while the thermometer is marked in Fahrenheit. The barometer is a unique addition to any room. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own a piece of history with this exquisite antique piece. The Thermometer is removable, it slides up to take it off.
The Key to the winding mechanism for the clock is included, however I believe it doesn't work. 18.8cm wide at the top by the clock. 13cm wide in the middle by the thermometer. 24cm wide at the bottom by the barometer.
6cm depth from back to the face of the barometer. 2.3cm depth inner body.
As you can see from these dimensions the barometer is of lovely grand proportions. The glass of the clock is missing. The hour hand hand in the clock is slightly bent. Small chips in the woodwork.Age related marks, dirt and blemishes due to being over 100 years old. The mercury in the thermometer seems to be imbalanced. The dial is in perfect condition, as is the glass over the barometer.
Please study photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition, as what you view is exactly what you will receive. Many thanks for viewing my listing.
