Antique Triple Glass Timer Hourglass Sand Glass 20th Century

20th century copy of a 16th century triple glass sand timer. The timer is secured in a turned mahogany frame and is a copy of a triple sand timer belonging to Mary Queen of Scots which is the earliest timer of this type in the British museum. Inset into each of the circular ends of the frame are ceramic discs with a picture and the letter'M' in gilt.

The timer is in very good working condition. Measures approximately, Height 13.5cm (5.3 inches) Diameter 13.5 cm (5.3 inches). Usually dispatch on Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday.
