ANTIQUE STEAM ENGINBE THERMOMETER 300-1000 deg F SOLID BRASS by SUGDEN POWELL

Extremely heavy solid brass cased steam temperature gauge with nut and fibre sealing washer. Comprising milk glass scale and thermometer sandwiched between 2 glass windows, front and rear. The whole is encased in a very robust brass case. Would have been used for measuring the temperature of super-heated steam up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit.
