Antique Slide / Coin Cabinet. For 240 Slides

The hardwood slide cabinet with key, has a glazed door and measures 37cm x 28cm x 25cm. It can hold 240 slides in 15 blue velvet lined draws. It may have started life as a coin cabinet and has been adapted for slides by having a thin slat. Placed at the back of each draw each to slightly reduce the size.

Made I think from light mahogany, the cabinet is in good condition. There are a couple of hairline cracks.

In the side panels, short and not through the panel, and totally stable. A few light scratches, and small indentations along top plinth just visible on photo 1.
