The early/mid 19th century microscope is in good working condition. Focussing is by rack and pinion, there is no fine focus.
It has a one sided concave mirror and a. Mechanical stage which only moves backwards and forwards, not side to side. There are stage forceps, tweezers and a small live box. The objective lens is a set of three stacking lenses giving various magnifications.
The lacquer is worn in places and tarnished especially on the tube. Slides are all paper covered and various subjects.
