Antique McFarlane Calculating Cylinder Rare Early Calculator 1830 Museum Piece

On offer here is a very rare early calculator dating from about 1830/1835 used of accounting or financial calculations. One of the earliest calculators. Made by McFarlane of Glasgow, it comprises printed paper on wooden rolls held together by screwed on mahogany end plates. It looks in good condition for its age although there is an overall age related. Discolouration on the printed paper but still quite readable.
