This is an antique astronomical / library telescope for terrestrial or astronomical use c1870. This large Victorian telescope has a brass stem with iron cabriole triform legs. This telescope has seen use over its 140 years and has a few dings and dents but the objective lens and sight are in very good condition. The rack and pinion fine focus works effectively, and the spare lens has a dark filter.
The size of the instrument. Length: 98cm extending to 142cm (approx). The telescope is with its original fitted box. Overall a good looking and functional item or decorative piece. If you wish to return an item in the condition it was sent please advise me within 7 days of its receipt.
