C UNSIGNED TRAVELLING or POCKET THERMOMETER. This is a very nice cased example of a late 19thC Pocket/Travelling Thermometer. The thermometer is in good working order with an unbroken column. The scale-plate is marked in both Centigrade (0-40) and Fahrenheit (30-110). The leather-covered wooden transit case is in fine condition and the silk is a little worn as shown in the photo.
