A antique professionally re-lacquered brass microscope signed'SWIFT & SON LONDON also stamped SWINDON COLLEGE on the side of the stage. In good working order - push-pull focus & fine focus via knurled knob to the rear. Very clear optics via a Zeiss AA objective - also signed NEGRETTI & ZAMBRA LONDON. The instrument is firm to use & condition is good throughout with no noticeable knocks or dents. Sliding graduated upper draw tube gives increased magnification when needed.

Fully adjustable plano-concave mirror - please note; some loss of silvering to the concave side. Height fully extended 37cms; compressed 30cms.
