Antique lacquered brass compound microscope,'The International', circa 1910
A lacquered brass compound microscope by unknown maker but engraved to one side. It is to a design that was popularised by Robert Field in 1855, winner of the Society of the Arts prize that same year. This particular example is believed to date to around 1900. At working height, it measures 38cm tall.

Complete with case, forceps, tweezers, livebox and a single objective with brass cannister. This greatly increases the likelihood of items getting damaged or being lost altogether. May I wish all of my buyers stay safe and healthy over this difficult time.
