Antique J. Casartelli & Son Air Meter Lowne's Silver Medal

Lowne's Silver Medal Air Meter. Nice example of an antique air meter instrument. The casing is brass and the silvered dial is inscribed with the makers name and serial number. On the side of the dial is a fan which connects to the dial to generate a reading. It is in good condition for its age. The glass is undamaged and has no major surface scratches. The brass has worn and tarnished over time. There are a few general knocks and scuffs around the brass casing and some light scratches on the reverse of but only what is to be expected. I cannot say if it is working accurately, however the dial seems to move as expected. Face Diameter : 2 1/2 (6cm). Fan Diameter : 2 3/4 (7cm). Height : 3 1/4 (8.5cm).
