Antique Horizontal brass microscope 1890 Scientific instrument

On offer here is this rare antique brass horizontal microscope. For every 500+ vertical microscope there is one of these rare horizontal microscopes. Made sometime around 1900, give or take 10 years, it has a brass eyepiece, brass Body tube focus mechanism and vertical support.

Cast iron base and then a hinged ironwork flange holding the slide holder and Mirror. It was made to sit on a table top or desk and the Whole thing is height adjustable in two places on the stand and slight holder. The Objective lens has a Vernia scale engraved into the class to help with measuring. The mirror glass is a little bit perished but I guess would still work to do the job intended which was to reflect light onto the viewed object.
