Antique Early 20th Century Microscope Lamp

Antique Early 20th Century Microscope Lamp. I would say this is early, maybe 1920s.

No name, but it is well made. It measures 26cm L x 10cm W (base) x 24cm H. UK GEC 250v 5 amp plug on it, so I assume it is British. NB it needs to be rewired.

I wouldn't have thought it would be too difficult to sort out.
