For sale here is a vintage 1930s. CROOKES DEFLECTION CATHODE RAY TUBE.

This fantastic Crookes deflection cathode tube demonstrates the influence of a magnetic field on the electron beam. The visible beam appears on the aluminum sheet covered with phosphor, will bend away from the center when a magnet is held near the tube. Depth: base 11cm diameter tube 5cm deep. Obviously this item is not new it has been used in classrooms for teaching.
