Antique Jena monocular microscope by world renowned maker Carl Zeiss. According to company records this model was made in 1884 (please refer to serial number on viewing tube and extract of on-line company records). Predominantly of brass construction with Japanned base and lower components including horse shoe foot. Original removable viewer and two antique objectives (magnification lenses) present.

Original box no longer present, mirror lens is missing, thanks to quality all parts moving freely. This is an antique used item and exhibits signs of wear and tear, paint loss and aged patina which adds to its authenticity.
