Antique C W Dixey Bond St London Sector Scale Rule & Parallel Ruler Etui Drawing

A scarce antique Sector and Parallel rule both made by and clearly marked - C. DIXEY MATHL INST MAKER - TO HER MAJESTY NEW BOND ST LONDON. They would have originally been part of a drawing set and measure 6" long x 1 3/8" wide when closed. They have German silver electrum hinges, which are in good working condition and the sector rule retains both aligning pins. The parallel rule has a small area of roughness and a tiny chip to one corner.

They date to mid 1800's and are in a good used condition, as shown in photo's.
