Also there is a note from 1914 which identifies the microscope number 56572 which matches the metal plate attached to the instrument. The microscope comes in a wooden case with a lock but no key. The case and microscope are used but in good condition. The microscope could be restored for display or added to a scientific instrument collection. The wooden case is 14 inches , the width is 7 inches and the depth is 8 1/2 inches.
