Antique Brass Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Microscope 1921 Model Oak Carrying Case

Leitz Wetzlar Microscope with serial number 189413. Microscope dates from 19 April 1921 which is the date added to the original lable inside the box.

Solid brass instrument is in original mahogany wood box case. Serial number also engraved on top edge of door and inside as well as on the microscopes tube itself. The boxs lock has gone, but other than that, it is all in perfect condition and complete. All eye lens pieces are in the box and have their place. It also has a rotating turntable all of which is operates as they were intended to 98 years ago. Its a precision instrument in immaculate condition and working order having been owned by my late father who was a microbiologist. Ive priced it at a very fair level.
