Antique Brass Binocular Microscope

Large Wenham style binocular microscope (unsigned). The microscope has been substantially restored from its condition when acquired. The coarse and fine focus work well as do the X & Y stage controls. The lacquer is showing signs of ware.

The Wenham prism is damaged. The left inner eye piece draw tube is binding and at present cannot be adjusted. The eye piece adjustment bridge bar is an engineered replica (see photo). There are a number of eye pieces and objectives and box (no lock). This is a chance to own a good example of this type of microscope which with a little work could be restored to good working condition or make a very good display piece.
