Antique Baird & Tatlock Fortin stick barometer model 2818 London circa 1900
This is fantastic example of an extremely rare Fortin stick barometer manufactured by the acclaimed British company Baird & Tatlock Ltd Hatton garden London, presumably circa late 1800s/early 1900s. It is presented in beautiful all round cosmetic condition considering it's age. I assume the serial/model number for the barometer is 2818, which is engraved on the metal measurement scale plate. The brass fittings and black paintwork are very clean and bright and look extremely good considering it's age.
The barometer is enclosed in a beautiful glazed wooden cabinet and everything looks in great all round cosmetic shape with an added bonus of also having its original lock and key intact which are fully functional.
