A lovely 18th century small sundial. The square bronze dial having a mellow soft patination. No signature to be found; but this is a genuine period piece. Not a reproduction aged to look antique.

The gnomon is original and robustly secure. It has a sinuous pierced support with appropriate flow that modern copies never do. Left uncleaned with its soft tactile original finish. A great size for use in a smaller garden, or a most handsome period desk top accessory. Would look good mounted for wall display or to add period interest to interior settings.
