Antique 1800s or Earlier English Stick Thermometer & Barometer. West London

You are looking at a. Well-Preserved Antique 18th Century English Stick. This barometer is around 36 tall, around 4 1/8 wide. The left side, on the top, is a thermometer.

The right side is the barometer. Their background is inlaid with bone. Both function as far as I can tell.

This has been displayed on a wall over 55 years. You can see in the photos that this is well-preserved. I dont detect any damage, just some very light aging.

Please look at all the photos - what you see is what you get. The thermometer appears to be functional. Im not really sure how to use barometers, though. Please look at photos to judge condition for yourself.
